We are Knights of Columbus.
We are the largest Catholic lay organization in the world, with almost 2 million men and over 17,000 councils worldwide.
We are Catholic men, 18 years and older, who live up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Catholic Church.
We are dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
We have been praised by Popes, Presidents, and world leaders for our support of the Catholic Church, our programs, our civic involvement, and for our charitable aid.
We are Marquette 1437.
The Knights of Columbus started in 1882, and Marquette Council was founded in 1909.
We are Catholic men who primarily reside in the New Orleans Metropolitan area, including St. Tammany, Jefferson, Orleans, and St. Bernard Parish.
We have been recognized by our Supreme Council and State Council for our charitable work, service and accomplishments.
We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
