Knights of Columbus We are the largest Catholic lay organization in the world, with almost 2 million men and over 16,00 councils worldwide. We are Catholic men, 18 years and older, who live up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Catholic Church. We are dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Named #1 Council in Louisiana- again. ![]() ![]() 2014/2015
Marquette was named the winner of the State Deputy’s Award in 2015 and 2016 recognizing it as the best council in Louisiana because we had received a perfect score - 1,000 of a possible 1,000 points for all programs. Councils are graded in eight different programs: Family, Council, Community, Youth, Church, Culture of Life, Special Olympics, and Administration.
